We all deserve a little treat on a Friday to reward us for making it through the weekly grind. Usually, at Lemondrop HQ, that means a 4pm chocolate run to the corner shop. Yes, we know there's a recession on, but British Midland International (bmi), has a monthly promotion, "bmifriday", which means if you're quick you can get up to 70 per cent off selected fares on the last Friday of every month.
But you've only got a five-hour window to get booking as the offer only lasts between 12 noon and 5pm - so don't forget to clear your work diary.
The offer includes substantial discounts on specific routes, unveiled that morning, each bmifriday. The destinations and fares vary each month and include a range of departure airports across the UK to many domestic and international locations. The company recently launched new routes from London Heathrow to Berlin and Vienna.
